This is a good post.

Elizabeth I and Catherine the Great both understood that they had to do twice what any male ruler would do to prove themselves. Thus, Elizabeth stood by the shore waiting for the Armada in armor ready to fight for her country. Catherine the Great inoculated herself with small pox, a great risk, to be the precedent for her nation.

I realy don't think that Nepali poeple
r doing the right thing by punishing
their own fater of centuries, The King.
N i don think that Present nepali
Govt is doing the right, becoz he is '
not real Nepali he is Indian. That's Y he sold major part of Nepalis land to India, land ,river etc. If nepali people don take care their king 1st their countries Sq k.m will minimise, then slowly their country will disapper.
SO NEPALI PEOPLE THINK THOUSAND TIMES
BEFORE G.P.KOIRILA CREATES THE VISION OF DOOM N GIVE SUFFERS TO U AND TO UR
COUNTRY.

The www.WorldHistory.com network is a collection of different blogs that look at current events from the perspective of great leaders and other interesting people from the past. The hope is that we can draw on the wisdom of people from history to analyze what is happening today and perhaps come up with solutions to current political and social problems. In addition, we hope to give students exposure to the words and beliefs of historical figures, to help them learn how to read the often difficult and unfamiliar writing found in primary sources.

I'm not sure if I've answered your question, but I hope this helps some!

i was wondering why anyone would post a website discussing events but in th view of someone long dead and gone. also, although i personally love quotes that sum up situations, the quotes of some one long past of present situations that they would have never encouted strikes me as odd. i know that it may seem that i am repeting myself, but i would like to know wat relivence this kind of website/reporting has.

No offence meant. i am merely curoius.
