- Queen Elizabeth I of England may have died over four hundred years ago, but her spirit lives on in the many writings she left behind. During her long reign (1558–1603), Elizabeth demonstrated brilliant leadership as she dealt with many of the problems politicians still face today. Perhaps the wisdom that can be found in her recorded words may help modern people navigate the treacherous waters of international and domestic politics.
